An errant mind lost in its way back to reality again, mistaking nothing for evidence, an errant mind has gone away to a new reality to boldly sway.

Shortly before Errant Mind was formed, there was a local ill-fated cover band playing covers of miscellaneous rock songs. This is where the two founding members of Errant Mind initially met.

"Void Language" and "An Errant Mind" were written during this time by Hannu R. to see if the group would have any interest in performing some original material. Unfortunately, due to conflicting ambitions, mismanaged schedules and other even more peculiar circumstances, nothing of that sort ever happened. The cover band completely disintegrated within mere months... but out from its ashes was born something new.

This EP revisits that turbulent time period and brings to life these old tracks that were never meant to be. The style is more streamlined and riff-based than the music on In Time... as if tentatively still lingering somewhere between rock music and metal. The joyless rocking of black 'n' roll could be mentioned as an influence, as could be the grinding anguish of certain types of doom metal.

Without further ado, we present to you this short yet paradoxical offering of Errant Mind that is not Errant Mind...
